Special Events and Meetings:
The Bartlow Prototype Dealership Building has officially
been acquired by Chapter 17! Updates on its conversion to a museum will be given at the September meeting at the Bartlow dealership building in Millville. You will receive letters
in August giving details of upcoming events for this fall. An Open House for the community, members and
all interested individuals is also being planned for this fall. A detailed review of renovations to the Bartlow
Building to prepare it for its new role as an IH museum will be given by the Operations Committee at the September meeting.
Members are encouraged to send our Treasurer, Shirley Bordner their e-mail address so that they can receive information quickly
and less expensively about Chapter events and news. Volunteers will be needed to help with the renovations during
the scheduled work sessions.
The Spring "Pancake and Sausage
Dinner" at the Bartlow Museum originally scheduled for April 24, 2010 from 3 PM to 7 PM has been postponed
due to a conflict with a local church dinner previously scheduled at the same time. A revised date will be
listed as soon as it is set.
The Chapter's annual "Red Power Showdown" meeting
and show was held at the Bartlow Building during the July 4th weekend.
'07 Red Power Roundup show books are still available at the meeting - cost
is $22.00. 2010 dues were due in March and include the local and national IHCC national
dues for a total of $25.00.
